William B. Courtney (Bill) is the President and CEO of Classic American Hardwoods and an American football coach featured at the center of the Academy Award winning film Undefeated. Bill attended The University of Mississippi where his lifelong commitment to community involvement began through serving as the Lieutenant Commander of Sigma Nu, going on to be one of the founders of the largest Greek philanthropy project in the US, the Sigma Nu Charity Bowl. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, Bill founded Classic American Hardwoods, Inc. (CAH) in 2001. CAH has expanded to include domestic sales offices in Tennessee, China, and Vietnam and boasts in excess of $60 million in annual sales. Bill released his first book in 2014, Against the Grain, which has received national recognition. Bill has become a highly sought-after speaker keynoting at a variety of venues from the Para-Olympics in Colorado Springs to Nike, Frito Lay, FedEx and other nationally recognized companies. Bill is husband to Lisa and a father of four.
