Job Description
Establish and develop the strategy to optimize the owning cost of the mobile equipment by developing along with the operations the right machine specification for the right application, standardizing potential add on features to maximize productivity and leverage economies of scale.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish, develop and deploy a digital methodology to specify and configure equipment for each one of the business applications for most common operations (i.e. Ready-mix truck, wheel loaders, dump trucks, excavators, etc) to maximize utilization and productivity
- Perform a benchmark across OEMs in the market place to identify performance and productivity advantages versus total owning cost
- Develop equipment specs cost-benefit analysis for the fleet rightsizing to maximize the return on equity at the machine level
- Prepare technical specs datasheet templates to identify each type of equipment per its application and standardization across operations
- Explain, assist and support end users in selecting machines, add-ons, technical and safety features aligned to the overall corporate strategy
- Establish along with end users the minimum performance parameters and productivity indicators per application
- Prepare and present demo truck shows (try-outs) with updated features and latest proven value technology. Perform high-quality professional and knowledgeable business case for new and rebuild equipment
- Work closely to Reliable Centered Maintenance Enablers and Global Negotiators on pricing tiers associated with different models
- Build strong rapport with end users and drivers focused to enhance productivity, drivers comfortably and overall safety
- Establish a clear value added proposition to optimize fuel consumption, tire life management and other wearing off components
Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- At least 5 years of experience of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics
- “Change Agent” in a “best-in-class” leading organization.
- Academic Background: Graduated degree in Engineering, Business Development or related discipline is required; A Master degree in Supply Chain or a MBA is highly desirable
- International working exposure
- Bring high level of ethical, trustworthiness, intellectual, professional and personal values with proven track record of integrity
- Ability and desire to work in a positive fast paced and high energy environment
- Deep understanding of the offer portfolio (product range available) in the market place, new technologies available, safety and performance features potentially added to a machine
- Strong relationship builder with exceptional communications and interpersonal skills, both within an organization and externally using an analytic and metrics-based approach
- Hands on management style working with ample understanding of the heavy duty equipment productivity and Operations Excellence, technologies and tools; a track record of accomplishments driving continuous improvement in previous positions
- Customer oriented, open minded a willing to deeply understand the genuine business demands of our end user
