Job Description
ESSER After School Program Project Director
Assist with the coordination of grant funded after-school programs district-wide.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bilingual speaker preferred
- Outstanding human relations skills with strong written and oral communication
- Understanding of youth development principles and practices
- Ability to work collaboratively and form effective working relationships with families, schools, and other providers
- Ability to work flexible hours (i.e. evenings, weekends, and summer)
- Working knowledge of computers, word processing, and database software preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ teaching experience
- Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred
- Experience in after-school setting, teaching, counseling, social work, and/or other related areas
- Experience with budgeting and project leadership preferred
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified teacher preferred
