Job Description
Coordinate the Community Learning Program on the campus.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Outstanding human relations skills with strong written and oral communication
- Working knowledge of computers, word processing, and database software
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to maintain discipline, motivate students, and communicate effectively with students, parents and staff
- Ability to work flexible hours including afterschool, evenings and some weekends
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience in teaching, counseling, social work, and/or other related areas
- Experience working in an after-school setting and with at-risk youth and families preferred
- Experience with budgeting and project leadership preferred
- Experience as a mentor/coach with children and/or adults preferred
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Teacher preferred
This position is federally funded for the 2021-2022 school year.
Future funding is contingent upon the availability of federal funds.
