2021-2022 Family Engagement Liasion Applicant Pool
To assist in carrying out the district's goal to increase family engagement
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Must have an Associates Degree or have a minimum of 48 semester hours of higher education coursework or pass a district test
- Must have excellent computer experience and skills for data entry tasks
- Ability to get along and work with people
- Ability to serve as a role model for parents
- Ability to conduct trainings and offer family services in the community whenever necessary
- Ability to organize and supervise a campus Family Center including designing lesson plans and teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to make group presentations speaking clearly and articulately
- Must be familiar with community and support agencies
- Must be adaptable to meet the needs of the families in the program in addition to working flexible hours to accommodate work in the evening, weekends and summer
- Experience working in an educational, social service, or family support service setting preferred
- Experience with child development and effective parenting techniques preferred
- Experience working with families that have diverse cultures and economic backgrounds
- Assist with implementation and monitoring family programs during school day and after-school hours
- Assist with the coordination of campus and district FAME Advisory councils and campus/district family events
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
