Position Summary
This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement. The Marketing Coordinator will support the department with the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, campaign launches, content marketing, digital marketing, website management, graphic design, SEO, events, social media, email, our podcast, and conduct marketing analysis. Experience working in a highly technical environment strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the contracted graphic design team and WorkFaith by coordinating and fulfilling requests for marketing support daily.
- Create graphic designs as needed to support ongoing initiatives. Assist in all aspects of marketing campaigns, including development, design, and coordination of vendors.
- Monitor website to maintain accuracy, including coordination of monthly website reviews and updating content.
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for multiple marketing channels, including email, social media, and printed material, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging delivery.
- Assist Director of Marketing and Community Engagement with the planning and execution of in-person events.
- Work with the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement to create and manage marketing campaigns for ongoing programs and services, new initiatives, and events.
- Communicate changes and updates efficiently to internal staff and external constituencies.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of brand guidelines and standards.
- Ensure all other special projects are completed as assigned to achieve immediate and long-term business goals.
- Research industry-related topics by identifying and evaluating high-ranking SEO keywords for our Career Advice Blog.
- Manage the volunteer content writing team by communicating, answering questions, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing feedback.
- Edit, approve, and schedule content to be published.
- Contribute to the blog regularly, especially when necessary, to meet publishing deadlines.
- Collaborate with WorkFaith team members and external partners to create impactful marketing content evidenced by metrics.
- Maintain a monthly posting calendar to deliver high-quality, original social media content for 7+ social media accounts.
- Monitor and engage in all social media interactions and conversations involving WorkFaith.
- Identify timely content trends to help produce relevant social media posts to engage our audience.
- Contribute to and regularly update YouTube, Vimeo, and other community sites.
- Convey a sense of community online and build our social media following based on valuable content and mutual sharing.
- Leverage analytics tools to increase social media effectiveness, track overall performance, and compile weekly and monthly reporting.
- Maintain media clips, press contacts, and detailed logs of publicity breaks in an internal database system.
- Execute proactive interview pitching across various media platforms, including print, digital, broadcast, and social media.
- Build positive professional relationships with media and influencers.
- Write press releases and create other materials that can be leveraged for press interviews and features.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to marketing or communications 2+ years of professional marketing and communication experience
- Must possess intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, WordPress (or similar), and CRM software
- Must possess exceptional creative writing and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Photography and video editing skills are a plus, along with proficiency in Spanish
- Ability to work effectively on a team both in person and virtually
